In November 2018 I quit my online business.
It was shortly after Ross and Olivia tag teamed in hospital EVERY weekend in September.
I had just started a new part time role that was an hour drive away and needed to also juggle our other daughter… And the business. And 1836 other things.
I had to cancel one of our live group coaching calls from Olivia’s hospital bed… And then remember getting one of those Zoom notifications that someone had still showed up to the call, so I had to quickly jump on and explain to this fertility warrior that I wasn’t going to be able to do that week’s call while she was beside me with an oxygen tube.
So hard.
My business felt impossible.
I’d only started as a business 9 months ago (although I had the blog and podcast before that) and it had been at least six months of HUSTLE.
I tried lots of packages. 1:1 coaching, single sessions, ebooks, group coaching….
I tried (and failed) to be everywhere.
It felt messy and chaotic and a lot of DOING.
And I got some $$$ into the door but not enough to pay myself (actually not enough to even pay myself back for what I had invested in logo’s and business coaches etc).
And then… one day, I decided to unquit my business and just quit the strategy I’d been using up until now.
In this episode you’ll learn:
What finally made my business 10x easier (and more profitable)
How life can feel when you’re up to your eyeballs in everything
What it felt like to unquit, and what changed in my business to allow me to run it better, in less hours.
