Facebook and Instagram Ads are one of the hardest working employees in my business – they work and continually optimise 365 days per year, 24/7 if I want them to and they convert.
They’re a literal game changer, to the point that whenever I see someone write that they’ve grown their business ‘all organically without ads’ all I can think of is ‘wow, that sounds slow and like hard work’ – because they’re like turning on a tap in your business for leads.
The truth is that at the time, I was consistently getting about 15 people into each cohort of my program. It reached a point when my intakes weren’t growing, and so I just knew inside that without a consistent flow of new leads into the business (more than what I was getting at the time) – my business would end up going backwards.

I share the full story in the episode (as well as some of the other things I’ve invested in over the course of my Facebook Ads journey) but the long and short of it is: I knew this was the logical next step, and that without it my business would stay stagnant and wither, and I invested in this before I’d reached a $100k annual revenue (but… it was the same year that I invested in this service that I did reached six figures – and have never really looked back). It took my cohorts to 40 – 45 (from that original 15).
This episode isn’t just about Facebook and Instagram Ads. In truth it’s about asking yourself where you really need to uplevel and where you might be preventing yourself from growing to the next stage in business.
